D is for Dimension

I wanted to be this one thing. This one thing that I thought represented the woman.

Beautiful and sexy.

It was all over the images I saw in magazines and on television…even in cartoons. You know where the prince fell in love with the princess because she was beautiful? That’s what I wanted to be.

But that one thing that I wanted to be didn’t align with what I felt inside…and what I saw at home.

Soul Mate

My art is my soul interpreted.

Everyone won't understand it.

You know that feeling when you feel that it's your best work?

You read it and receive it and your soul agrees... because it's the story of what's in your heart.

Don't get upset when others read and don't receive it, because it they don't get it.

Their soul doesn't get it.

But wow. What a magical feeling when you share it with someone and they get it. Their soul agrees.

Isn't that what bliss feels like?

That's what a soul mate is to me.

Someone who understands and receives my art.

They understand the interpretation of my heart without me even having to explain.

My soul's expression.

And their soul agrees.
